C.B.Training Institute was founded in April 2009 to impart training in the various aspects of construction engineering. The institute aims at bridging the gap between the curriculum as taught in engineering and diploma colleges and the requirement of construction industry.

The explosive growth witnessed all over the country in the past few years has increased multifold the manpower requirement of the construction industry. All aspects of construction like - Type of buildings, architectural features, size of the buildings, materials used for construction, pace of construction, complexity of services- all aspects of construction have seen a sea change. While buildings have become more complex and large, cost effective solutions and reduced timelines are the order of the day. The explosive growth across all sectors have also made trained manpower scarce thus contributing to quick staff turnover adding to the woes of the industry.

Trained manpower ensures productivity from day one, increased employee retention, vastly reduces the responsibility of training and cost incurred on training thus resulting in multifold benefits to the employers.

A Trained individual has a higher chance of employability, chances of retention in the event of a downturn, ensures higher remuneration and enhances growth opportunities thus making it an attractive proposal for the fresh graduates and for the employed seeking a change or betterment in their career.

The various aspects of the construction are interwoven and interdependent. Each branch of engineering has to depend for information from the other disciplines to complete its design. A basic understanding of the various system types and their features is absolutely essential to make the design cohesive.

CBTI aims at highlighting this interdependency and imparting training on the fundamental concepts of interrelated disciplines. Separate Training modules have been designed to cater to each section of the Industry – Young architects, Structural Engineers, Design Engineers for HVAC, electrical and PHE, Project supervisors, Project Managers, Facility Managers, Planning Engineers, etc.

We have a team of architects, consultants from the field of electrical, public health engineering and air-conditioning with rich practical experience and with a passion for teaching to handle the training sessions.
